What the CVB does

The Bureau of Tourism is a major link for those involved in tourism and want to promote their products and services, it is integrated by public sector agencies and private initiative, through which the members have a great opportunity to engage relationships and grow their target market and strengthen their image.

The Tijuana Convention and Visitors Bureau was established as a decentralized public agency which goal is to assist the authorities in their labors to encourage the tourisim activities.

Here are its main functions, according to its regulations:

1. Collaborate and assist the federal, state and local tourism in the implementation and enforcement of the laws.
2. Encourage the flow of national and foreign tourists to the city of Tijuana.
3. To conduct training programs and awareness, with the objective of promoting the development of tourism culture.
4. Conduct studies and create banks of information on tourism in its various aspects.
5. Suggest to the authorities projects which will help the city’s image and with the solution to tourism problems in Tijuana.
