Founded in the year 1966, the Tijuana Convention & Visitors Bureau, it is the official responsible organ of implementing the programs of promotion to the tourism in the city, created without lucrative ends as Public Organism Decentralized of Municipal collaboration in order to promote Tijuana as head office of events and conventions in addition to helping the authorities in the works of promotion to the tourist activity.

This Bureau is formed by the representatives who designate thirty organisms of the Public and Private sectors, which are those who endorse this organization from which they distinguish the Town hall of Tijuana, the National Chamber of Commerce Services and Tourism, Secretary of Tourism of the State of Baja California, Merchants' Association of the Av. Revolution, Association of Hotels, National Chamber of the Industry of Restaurants and Flavored Food, Customs of Tijuana, Managerial Center of Tijuana and Council of Economic Development of Tijuana among others.

And it is so with the support of these organisms, the Tijuana Convention & Visitors Bureau coordinates the efforts to manage to do of this city, head of important events, since it possesses an adapted organized structure to announce the prosperity of this city and the hospitality of the people.
